From Comedy Central's Mother Load and Crank Yankers - HBO's "Inside the NFL" - "Late Late Show" with Craig Kilborn

Bio

Jim Florentine is an established stand-up comic, actor and writer. His credits include dozens of appearances on the Howard Stern Show, a cult hero puppet character “Special Ed” on Comedy Central’s Crank Yankers and headline status at comedy clubs throughout the country, numerous commercials, and even two top selling comedic CDs.

Most recently, Jim’s two Crank Yankers characters, Special Ed and Bobby Fletcher have become cult stars. Crank Yankers is a smash hit show on Comedy Central and Jim appeared as “Special Ed” along with International megastar Eminem to present an award at the 2003 MTV Music Awards.

In 2004, Jim took over for George Lopez as the on location comedic correspondent on HBOs Inside The NFL pulling memorable pranks on unsuspecting NFL superstars and sports personalities.

Jim’s recordings, entitled “Terrorizing Telemarketers,” showcase his edgy, and provocative sensibilities as he takes revenge on the universally obnoxious world of telemarketers. These hilarious, wisecracking phone calls make up volumes of CDs which have peaked at #2 on amazon.com, and have charted on the Billboard Internet Sales Chart. Most recently, Jim has produced a DVD entitled “Meet the Creeps” which features Jim and his buddies (including well known comics Artie Lange and Jim Norton) pulling the foulest and most deranged practical jokes on unsuspecting bystanders.

Jim’s unique brand of comedy could also frequently be heard on the Howard Stern Show where he often joins Howard, and Robin Quivers in lampooning the day’s current events during the news segment of the show.

His well-rounded comedic set has earned him headliner status at a variety of “A clubs” throughout the country from. He has performed successfully at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and has also been seen on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn on Comedy Central.

With everything else going on in his career, Jim has actually found time to star in a number of films, and take the lead role in national ad campaigns for Budweiser, Sam Adams and the Food Network.
